Technician Services Agreement

I am an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of The Wrench Bros. I control how I provide my services and am responsible for my own tools, schedule, and methods. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment or agency relationship.

I will provide remote diagnostic guidance competently, honestly, and in good faith. I am solely responsible for the advice I give and for exercising reasonable professional judgment, including telling a customer when a problem requires in-person inspection or a qualified specialist.

I represent that any experience, certifications, and specialties shown on my profile are true and current, and that I am legally permitted to provide the services I offer. I will keep this information accurate.

I set my own rates. The Wrench Bros retains a platform fee of 20% of each paid engagement and I receive the remaining 80%, paid out through the platform's payment processor. I am responsible for confirming my payout details are correct.

I understand diagnostics are advisory and based on information the customer provides. I will not promise specific outcomes, and I will make clear that remote guidance is not a substitute for hands-on inspection where one is needed.

I am responsible for my own advice and conduct. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Wrench Bros from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the guidance I provide, my conduct, or my breach of this Agreement.

I understand diagnostic calls may be recorded and stored for quality, safety, and dispute resolution, and I consent to such recording. I will conduct myself professionally on every call.

I will not solicit or take paid engagements off-platform to avoid fees. I will comply with applicable laws, treat customers respectfully, and not misrepresent myself or The Wrench Bros.

I will keep customer information confidential and use it only to provide the requested help.

As an independent contractor, I am responsible for my own taxes and any required filings on amounts I earn through the platform.

Either I or The Wrench Bros may end this relationship at any time. Obligations relating to payments owed, confidentiality, indemnification, and limitations of liability survive termination.

I am signing this Agreement electronically by typing my name, which I agree is my legal signature under the E-SIGN Act and UETA. I understand that confirming my email finalizes and makes this Agreement legally binding, and that the platform retains my signature, the date and time, my IP address, and the version of this Agreement.
